My name is Greg Hinson, and I was born in February of 1961 to two great parents John and Vickie Hinson.  I was born and raised all my life in San Gabriel Valley California in the towns of La Puente, Hacienda Heights, Azusa, Glendora, and Diamond Bar.  I am currently living in Northern Nevada - Gardnerville, Nevada.

Special note: 

On February 20th, 2010 my parents celebrated a very special wedding anniversary.  Their Golden 50th !! I was able to celebrate with them in the joy they shared for the past 50 years.  Renee and myself along with many family and friends had a special photo book made up with pictures and written memories of them over the past 50 years.  Due to financial problems with everyone, we decided to not throw a party, but do the book instead.  Renee and Stuart, and myself took mom and dad out to dinner.  I had flown to California to surpise them on the 19th of February.  Cousins Lonne Mason and Elyse Elliot took my parents and I out to dinner the night before.  I am working on a photo album to put on this website showing some of the pictures.

               I have one sister, Renee Marie who married Stuart Smith.  they have 4 beautiful children. They also live in Orange County, California.

I moved to the Carson Valley area in July of 1994.  In 1996, I met soul mate,  Linda Sue Reed.    Linda was born on 11-23-51 and has 4 children.  One of those children moved from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carson City, Nevada to be close to her.  His Name was David.  David was born on January 24, 1979.  David met Jennifer and while they were dating, Jennifer gave birth to Kaleb Russel Nix on 6-26-2002.

This picture was taken on December 23, 2009 when Santa came to visit the children on our street.  In this picture at the top of the page:  Grandpa Greg, Sonya Koenig (Mrs. Claus), sitting is Santa Claus (our good friend James Koenig), and on his lap is my wife Linda.  Kneeling low is my step son David Russell Slate and next to him is Kaleb our Grandson.
